PHP Developer

As a PHP Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions that support our business and digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, frontend developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable, high-performance systems.

• At least 4+ years of experience as a PHP developer
• Strong knowledge of PHP 7/8 and modern PHP standards
• Solid understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and Microservice Architecture patterns
• Experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar)
• Experience in building and integrating RESTful services
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Experience with RDBMS databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Strong communication skills: fluent Azerbaijani; good English level is an advantage

Technical Stack:

• PHP 7/8
• Frameworks: Laravel / Symfony or similar
• Databases: SQL/NoSQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Message Brokers: RabbitMQ, Kafka
• API development and integration
• Version control systems (Git)

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Linux
• Experience with web servers (Nginx, Apache)
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP (7/8) and modern frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar).
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services used by web and mobile applications.
• Apply OOP principles, design patterns, and clean code practices in daily development.
• Participate in the design and implementation of microservice-based architectures.
• Integrate databases and ensure data consistency, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment setup.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviewsTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems and services.
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability best practices.
• Work closely with business and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Actively contribute to technical discussions, architectural decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
