How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:

For the execution phase:

• Assist and Project Contract Manager in recovery of bid contractual summary, any legal analyses and other support documentation prepared during tender phase;
• Assist and Project Contract Manager in verification of the completeness of contract documents (consistency check), supervise their distribution to project team members and regularly execute contract induction meetings;
• Assist the Project Manager and Project Contract Manager in developing the contract management execution strategy and ensure change order process on the project, including appropriate claim management actions;
• Assist procurement department to ensure that all project specific contracts for goods, services or subcontracts are drafted incorporating contractual obligations and assisting the Project Manager and Project Contract Manager in identifying critical packages (subcontractors and vendors) requiring special monitoring of contract risks;
• Manage and coordinate contract management activities ensuring that all aspects of the execution of the contract;
• Manage formal correspondence under the project;
• Review, update and complete all partner agreements according to contract/project development;
• Coordinate the contractual documentation filling;
• Ensure the contribution to the Legal function for the management of preliminary activities of litigations and contribute during the following activities;
• Fully adhere, at all times and irrespective of the work place, to Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures and requirements;
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior, in line with the activities set into the relevant procedures.
• Maintain contractual registers and records throughout project execution in line with the procedures;
• Assist in the administration of contractual changes, variations and claims;
• Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, notices and key milestones.

What are we looking for?

• Good understanding of project execution processes, contractual compliance requirements, and HSEQ standards within a project environment
• Work Experience: Must have at least 5 years experience in a similar role within Oil and Gas Industry
• Education: Higher education, (Technical or legal specialization within the Oil & Gas industry is preferred).
• Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent).
• Demonstrated knowledge of contract management principles, commercial risk evaluation, and mitigation strategies.
• Experience in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of contractual claims, variations, and change orders.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and risk identification.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Good understanding of project execution processes, contractual compliance requirements, and HSEQ standards within a project environment
