Senior investment operations analyst

PASHA Investments LLC is looking for a Senior Investment Operations Analyst to join our Portfolio Operations team. The role will support the full investment lifecycle and financial oversight of the private equity portfolio, from due diligence and valuation to post-investment monitoring, reporting and portfolio management.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the deal team across origination, screening, due diligence, execution and exit processes.
• Support financial, commercial and operational due diligence and coordinate information flow with external advisors.
• Perform valuations using DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and LBO / entry-exit methodologies.
• Prepare and quality-check Investment Committee papers, investment memoranda and supporting analysis.
• Monitor portfolio company financial performance, operating KPIs, budgets, value-creation initiatives, liquidity and banking covenants.
• Prepare portfolio, fund-level and LP reporting, including monthly and quarterly reporting, proformas, capital calls and distributions tracking.
• Analyse budget-vs-actual variances, identify key deviations and support corrective actions with the deal team and portfolio company management.
• Prepare materials for board meetings, portfolio reviews, Investment Committee and investor updates.
• Support the implementation and administration of portfolio management and reporting systems and drive automation of reporting and data-collection processes.

Key skills and experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field; Master’s / MBA is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in private equity, investment analysis, transaction advisory, asset management, corporate finance or audit, with relevant exposure to financial modelling and due diligence.
• Prior involvement in live transactions, Investment Committee processes and/or portfolio monitoring is a strong advantage.
• ACCA / CFA / CPA qualification, or active progression towards one, is strongly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial analysis, LBO and returns modelling.
• Expert-level financial modelling and strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Understanding of fair-value / IPEV valuation guidelines and portfolio performance monitoring.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and commercial judgement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English; Russian is an asset.
