Moore Azerbaijan, an independent member of the global network of auditing and consulting firms Moore Global Network Limited, announces a vacancy for the position of “Senior Tax Consultant”.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's and/or master’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field;
• At least 3-5 years of work experience in accounting and taxation;
• Problem-solving and decision- making skills;
• Strong understanding of local tax legislation;
• Strong professional writing and analytical skills;
• Proficient skills (Word, Excel, Power Point);
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environment and work in different teams;
• Experience dealing with tax authorities and tax audits;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages

Key responsibilities:

• Filling and submission of tax reports;
• Filling and submission of statistical reports;
• Prepare and review corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and other statutory tax return;
• Conduct tax due diligence, and tax risk assessments;
• Assist clients during tax audits, tax inspections, and disputes with tax authorities;
• Review all transactions in accounting software for accuracy and completeness;
• Maintaining correspondence with Tax and other Authorities;
• Preparation of management / internal reports as required;
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate their impact to clients and internal teams;
• Performing other daily accounting tasks as per the requirement;
• Research complex tax issues and prepare technical tax opinions;
• Review financial statements from a tax perspective;
• Ensure engagements are completed within deadlines and in accordance with quality standards.

Working hours: 5 days in a week, from 09:00 am till 18:00 pm.
