SEO Content Writer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced iGaming SEO Content Specialist to help build a trusted, search-led media platform covering online casinos, sportsbooks, betting products, industry developments, and player education. The website will operate as an editorial and review publication similar in scope to ATS.io, combining commercially valuable review content with timely news and evergreen guides.

This is not a generalist writing role. The successful candidate must understand how to research complex iGaming topics, evaluate operators objectively, match search intent, and turn SEO briefs into accurate, useful, conversion-aware content without compromising editorial quality or compliance.

Primary outcome: Publish and continuously improve content that earns organic visibility, builds topical authority, helps readers make informed decisions, and supports qualified affiliate conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Content production and editorial ownership

• Write and edit online casino reviews, sportsbook reviews, betting-site reviews, game and software-provider reviews, comparison pages, industry news, how-to guides, explainers, and evergreen educational content.
• Research operators, licensing, product features, bonuses, wagering requirements, payment methods, withdrawal processes, mobile experience, customer support, responsible-gambling tools, and market restrictions.
• Translate research into original, well-structured content that is clear, credible, useful, and appropriate for the target audience and market.
• Cover relevant iGaming news quickly while maintaining factual accuracy, source quality, context, and editorial judgment.
• Refresh existing pages when operator terms, regulations, offers, products, search behavior, or competitive conditions change.
• Follow the brand voice, editorial standards, legal requirements, responsible-gambling guidelines, and market-specific compliance rules.
• Apply current on-page SEO practices, including heading structure, semantic coverage, entity relevance, internal linking, metadata recommendations, FAQ opportunities, and snippet-oriented formatting.
• Write for people first while creating content that can perform across traditional search, AI Overviews, answer engines, and other AI-assisted discovery environments.
• Collaborate with SEO specialists to improve pages using performance data from Google Search Console, analytics platforms, Ahrefs, Semrush, and related tools.
• Use AI tools responsibly for research support, ideation, outlining, or quality control—not as a substitute for expertise, verification, or original writing.
• Respond constructively to editorial feedback and complete revisions within agreed deadlines.

Required experience and qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in SEO content writing, editorial content, affiliate publishing, or a closely related role.
• Demonstrable experience producing content that ranks in competitive search results; iGaming experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written English, with strong grammar, clarity, tone control, and editing ability. Native or near-native proficiency is preferred.
• Solid understanding of search intent, on-page SEO, content briefs, SERP analysis, internal linking, topical authority, and content optimization.
• Strong independent research skills and the ability to verify claims using reliable primary or authoritative sources.
• Ability to explain bonuses, odds, payment conditions, licensing, product mechanics, and other complex topics accurately and simply.
• High attention to detail, particularly for numerical claims, terms and conditions, dates, jurisdictions, and operator information.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent quality in a fast-moving editorial environment.

Preffered experience

• Previous work for an iGaming publisher, casino or sportsbook affiliate, operator, comparison website, or gambling-industry publication.
• Knowledge of online casinos, sportsbooks, sweepstakes casinos, prediction markets, fantasy sports, crypto gambling, slots, table games, live casino, and payment methods.
• Experience writing commercial “money pages” such as operator reviews, best-of lists, alternatives, comparisons, and bonus pages.
• Familiarity with regulated markets such as the United States.
• Understanding of E-E-A-T, affiliate disclosure standards, responsible-gambling principles, content decay, information gain, and AI-search optimization.
• Experience with WordPress, Google Docs, Jira, Notion, or similar editorial workflow tools.

• Content consistently meets the brief, matches the intended search journey, and requires limited structural rewriting.
• Reviews are specific, balanced, evidence-based, and genuinely useful—not templated summaries of operator marketing claims.
• News articles are timely, accurate, properly contextualized, and differentiated from competing coverage.
• Published pages gain relevant rankings, impressions, clicks, engagement, and qualified commercial actions over time.
• Updates are prioritized intelligently based on business value, content decay, market changes, and organic opportunity.
