Role Description The Engagement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Baku, responsible for leading client engagements from initial scoping through delivery and follow-up. This role oversees project and program activities, coordinates resources, and ensures that advisory and consulting services align with client objectives and timelines. The Engagement Manager works closely with clients to understand their strategic priorities, facilitates workshops and meetings, and translates business needs into actionable plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing stakeholder communication, monitoring project risks and dependencies, preparing progress reports and presentations, and supporting business development efforts such as proposal creation and opportunity assessment. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams to maintain high-quality standards, foster long-term client relationships, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess business challenges, and support evidence-based decision-making.
+5 Years Program Management experience to coordinate multiple initiatives, manage resources, and track progress toward strategic goals.
+5 Years Project Management skills to plan, execute, and oversee engagement deliverables, including timelines, budgets, and quality metrics.
Consulting capabilities to diagnose client needs, design solutions, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
Excellent Communication skills to interact with stakeholders at different levels, facilitate meetings, and prepare client-ready documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) essential
Experience working in professional services, advisory, or consulting environments, preferably in strategy, governance, or digital transformation.
Ability to work on-site in Istanbul, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple engagements in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in standard office and collaboration tools; familiarity with project management frameworks and methodologies is beneficial.
Strong client relationship skills, a results-oriented mindset, and commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices.
