Work Location: Offshore Operation Vessel

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repair, installation and replacement works on vessel HVAC systems safely and efficiently.
• Install, remove and replace HVAC system components using appropriate hand and power tools.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Read and interpret HVAC layout drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Perform maintenance of fire flaps in HVAC ducts and related actuation systems.
• Carry out hot and cold works and brazing activities where required.
• Support the engine room department when required.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working conditions.
• Participate in Toolbox Talks and JSA activities.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and full compliance with HSE/HSEQ requirements.
• Report to the 2nd Engineer.

Requirements

• Technical education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HVAC role on a construction vessel within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read HVAC electrical diagrams and layout drawings.
• Knowledge of welding-related activities, materials and relevant procedures.
• Practical knowledge of Hot and Cold Works and metal brazing techniques.
• Knowledge of safe storage and handling of compressed and flammable gases.
• Knowledge of HVAC duct fire flaps and associated actuation systems.
• Good English and fluent Azerbaijani.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
