Job Accountability

• Perform, review, and verify structural calculations, design models, and detailed structural drawings for concrete, steel, and post-tensioned structures
• Inspect on-site structural works, including foundation, rebar placement, shuttering, and concrete pouring, ensuring compliance with approved designs and project specifications
• Coordinate interdisciplinary design requirements with architects, MEP engineers, facade specialists, and site construction teams to resolve design conflicts
• Review structural submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and material technical datasheets submitted by contractors
• Conduct QA/QC inspections on structural components, identify non-conformances, and enforce necessary corrective action plans on site

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (Degree from an recognized international university is strongly preferred)

Specific areas of expertise:

• Reinforced concrete and structural steel design, seismic design principles, foundation engineering, structural analysis modeling, and compliance with international building codes (Eurocodes, ACI, BS, IBC)

Work experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering and site supervision, preferably within large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use construction projects

Language and computer programs knowledge:

• Strong knowledge and proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Prokon), AutoCAD, and MS Office (Revit Structure knowledge is an asset)
• Strong command of English and Azerbaijani

• Strong analytical mindset and capability to effectively communicate complex structural solutions to site teams and stakeholders
