We are hiring: Site Manager | Utility-Scale Solar PV Projects

As part of our continued growth in the Energy business unit, we are looking for a Site Manager to join a utility-scale solar PV project in a Azerbaijan.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Owner’s representative on site during project execution.
• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure site progress is aligned with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with technical, contractual, quality, safety, and schedule standards.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and the Owner.
• Review, validate, and control construction documentation, including Method Statements, ITPs, procedures, inspection records, and QA/QC documentation.
• Monitor site issues, non-conformities, punch lists, and pre-commissioning activities through to handover.
• Report progress clearly through daily reporting, photographic records, and weekly summaries.

Candidate profile

• 7–10 years of experience in industrial or energy construction.
• At least 5 years of specific experience in utility-scale PV plants above 50 MW.
• Strong background supervising EPC contractors and local subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning activities.
• Experience with site documentation control, revision tracking, and QA/QC workflows.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in multicultural environments.

Requirements / nice to have

• English is required.
• Additional languages such as Russian or local languages are a plus.
• Experience in international construction projects is highly valued.
• Knowledge of EPC and FIDIC contracts is desirable.
• PMP certification is preferable.
• Familiarity with international PV standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, and NFPA is an advantage.
