Azerbaijan British College (ABC) is seeking a dynamic and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our vibrant team. We are committed to delivering high-quality PE that prioritises maximum participation, enjoyment, and skill development for every student.
The successful candidate will:
- Foster a love of movement and physical activity by creating inclusive, energetic, and engaging lessons for all students.
- Champion maximum participation in every session, ensuring that every child is active, involved, and challenged appropriately.
- Deliver a broad and balanced PE curriculum.
- Use innovative approaches to track and assess skills progression, supporting each student’s personal growth and achievement.
- Promote values of sportsmanship, teamwork, resilience, and wellbeing within the wider school community.
- Contribute to the growth of the school’s extracurricular sports programme and inter-school competitions.
Requirements, Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Physical Education or a related field (teaching qualification preferred).
- Experience in delivering high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and activities.
- A proven ability to inspire students of all abilities to participate and achieve.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
- Good knowledge of English;
- Understanding of child safeguarding obligations;
