Main Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field
- Previous teaching experience in Science and/or Chemistry
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry and general Science concepts
- Experience working with students in a school environment
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to conduct and supervise practical experiments safely
- Ability to prepare assessments, assignments, and learning materials
- Strong English language skills
- Ability to use digital tools and educational technologies effectively
- Team-oriented, responsible, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Commitment to students’ academic and personal development
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Science and Chemistry lessons according to the school curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, practical activities, and laboratory experiments
- Assess and monitor students’ learning and academic progress
- Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment
- Ensure laboratory safety procedures are followed during practical activities
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental activities
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Preferred: Experience with the Cambridge Curriculum, IGCSE Chemistry, and/or an international school environment is an advantage.
