HR & Recruitment Specialist (Oil & Gas)

The HR & Recruitment Specialist / Coordinator supports recruitment and HR operations for offshore, onshore, engineering, construction, and corporate functions. The role is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and mobilising qualified personnel while ensuring compliance with labour legislation, client requirements, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding.
• Recruit personnel for offshore, onshore, engineering, construction, marine, drilling, commissioning, HSE, QA/QC, logistics, finance, legal, HR, and administrative roles.
• Verify employment documents, qualifications, offshore certifications, medicals, visas, work permits, and mobilisation requirements.
• Maintain candidate databases, recruitment trackers, and personnel records.
• Liaise with hiring managers, recruitment agencies, and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
• Produce recruitment reports, headcount updates, and workforce statistics.
• Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company procedures, and client contractual requirements.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline.
• 8 years of HR and recruitment experience, preferably within the oil & gas or EPC industry.
• Experience recruiting for offshore, onshore, engineering, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of mobilisation processes, offshore certifications, and work permit requirements is an advantage.
• Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment systems.
