Company Description Azerbaijan Research Society is a non-profit initiative that brings together Azerbaijani scholars, doctoral candidates, master’s students, researchers, and young people interested in science from around the world. The organization aims to strengthen scientific collaboration among Azerbaijani researchers and make international academic opportunities more accessible. It works to enhance Azerbaijan’s representation in global scientific networks through knowledge sharing and cooperative research. The Society invites all Azerbaijani researchers and science‑oriented youth to join this academic community and contribute to its mission. Role Description The Volunteer will support the Azerbaijan Research Society’s academic and organizational activities. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with event planning and coordination, helping manage communications and outreach to researchers and students, and contributing to the organization’s online presence and informational materials. The Volunteer may also support research-related initiatives, such as organizing seminars, compiling resources on academic opportunities, and helping maintain internal databases or mailing lists. Collaboration with other volunteers and coordinators to strengthen the Society’s community, as well as providing administrative support where needed, will be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken Azerbaijani; knowledge of English or other languages is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (email, office software, online collaboration platforms); experience with social media or community outreach is beneficial.
- Interest in academic research, higher education, or scientific collaboration; prior involvement in academic or student organizations is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset, reliability, and a proactive approach to supporting a non-profit, volunteer-driven initiative.
