Closely monitoring the technical level of the mechanical engineering team, lead static and rotating equipment data sheets and requisitions preparation processFunctional owner of mechanical engineering procedures and practices. Ensure that the mechanical team works in full compliance to engineering procedures and processesReview and approve engineering calculations, specifications, datasheets, and drawingsClosely support front-end concept development and selection processEnsure smooth coordination with process, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and civil/structural engineering teams.Active participation in risk assessments, HAZOP studies, design reviews and design verifications.Evaluation of vendor proposals and technical bids.Review of vendor documentation and inspection reports post award and active coordination of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).Closely support mechanical engineering training requirements and talent development Xüsusi tələblər Engineering Degree, preferably Master’s, in mechanical engineeringSignificant prior experience in designing static and rotating equipment15 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry, including at least 3-5 years of experience of leading mechanical engineering teamGood working knowledge of Upstream Engineering standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.)Professional Membership or ChartershipBrownfield upstream experience mandatoryInterested candidates are welcomed to send their resumes indicating in the subject “Mechanical Engineering Technical Authority (TA)” to [email protected].
