Warehouse & Materials Lead

Oversee the safe, compliant and technically controlled management of materials across operational support facilities. The role will act as the technical point of reference for warehouse activities, with responsibility for material inspection, storage and preservation standards, documentation, inventory integrity, quality control and compliance. Work closely with engineering, operations, HSE, procurement, maintenance and external suppliers to ensure that materials are received, stored, preserved and issued in accordance with technical specifications, manufacturer requirements and applicable industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical oversight and guidance across warehouse and materials management activities.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing materials meet specified technical, quality and certification requirements.
• Establish and maintain quality controls for material receipt, inspection, storage, preservation and dispatch.
• Investigate discrepancies, damaged materials, obsolete stock and non-conforming items, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Review technical requirements and prepare scopes of work for warehouse and materials-related services.
• Establish appropriate standards for material handling, preservation, corrosion prevention and storage based on OEM recommendations and industry practice.
• Maintain complete and traceable technical documentation associated with materials, including certificates, inspection records, safety documentation and manufacturer information.
• Oversee the storage and preservation of critical spares, emergency equipment, hazardous materials and other controlled items.
• Ensure warehouse activities comply with HSE, operational integrity and relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience in warehouse, materials or logistics operations within a technical or industrial environment.
• Experience within oil & gas, energy, petrochemical, EPC, offshore/onshore operations or a similarly technical industry.
• Practical experience with material inspection, quality control and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of chemical handling, hazardous materials and controlled storage requirements.
• Experience preparing or reviewing Scopes of Work (SOWs) and technical service requirements.
• Strong understanding of material preservation, corrosion control and critical-spares management.
• Experience working with material certificates, inspection documentation and OEM requirements.
