At Cargoza Trade & Logistics, we are expanding our operations and looking for an energetic, experienced, and proactive Lead Operations Specialist to join our team in Baku!

If you know how to handle complex project cargo, manage international supply chains from A to Z, and keep a positive, problem-solving mindset under any circumstances — we want to hear from you!

📋 Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Shipment Management: Plan, organize, and coordinate international and project shipments across all transport modes (multimodal, ocean, air, road, rail) from initial booking to final delivery.

Agent & Partner Liaison: Actively communicate and coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, shipping lines, airlines, transport companies, and customs brokers.

Tracking & Customer Service: Monitor shipment status and provide regular, transparent updates to clients.

Documentation & Compliance: Draft, verify, and manage a complete set of transport, customs, and shipping documents in full compliance with INCOTERMS and international trade regulations.

Financial Control & Cost Optimization: Analyze and optimize logistics costs, perform cost calculations, and prepare regular operational and financial reports.

Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Prevent and promptly resolve operational issues, force majeure events, and claims with a constructive and positive attitude.

🎯 Candidate Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years in international logistics, foreign trade (import/export), project cargo, and coordination with international freight partners.

Professional Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS and international freight forwarding standards.

Strong understanding of customs and shipping documentation requirements.

Hands-on experience in managing complex, multi-tiered logistics chains.

Education: Higher education / Bachelor’s degree (Logistics, International Trade, Economics, or related fields).

Language Skills: Fluent Russian and working proficiency in English (B2/C1 for business correspondence and negotiations).

Personal Traits: High level of responsibility, stress tolerance, structured thinking, and a genuine positive mindset.
