Location: Aghdara, Azerbaijan (Demirli Project)

We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join a large-scale mining project in Aghdara, Azerbaijan.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HSE activities across the mining project.
• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and management systems from scratch.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with open-pit mining operations and chemical processes.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Implement process safety measures and emergency response plans.
• Promote a strong safety culture and provide HSE training.
• Monitor HSE performance and lead the HSE team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HSE management experience.
• Experience in open-pit mining operations is mandatory.
• Proven experience in establishing HSE management systems from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, chemical processes, and process safety.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Working Conditions

• Location: Aghdara, Azerbaijan
• Work Schedule: 21 days on / 9 days off (rotation)
• For locally based candidates: 5 days on / 2 days off
