Senior IFRS reporting specialist

• Ensure the proper application of IFRS standards and support the preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements
• Assess existing and new business transactions from an IFRS perspective and determine the appropriate accounting treatment
• Prepare calculations, reconciliations and adjustments for monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes
• Participate in the preparation of the full IFRS financial reporting package and related disclosures
• Coordinate and support the external audit process as the company’s main point of contact
• Monitor changes in IFRS standards, assess their potential impact and support implementation
• Prepare reconciliations, supporting schedules, accounting memos and other financial reporting working papers
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial reporting and audit processes
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timely delivery of financial reporting information

Tələblər

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, IFRS and/or audit
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of IFRS
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work with large volumes of financial data
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively across teams and meet deadlines
• Strong English proficiency sufficient to work independently with IFRS standards, audit inquiries and professional documentation
• Good command of Azerbaijani; Russian is an advantage
• ACCA FR or DipIFR qualification
• Big Four audit experience and/or practical IFRS reporting experience in the manufacturing sector
• Location: Sumgait, Azerbaijan
