Product Owner

Role Description This is a full-time Product Owner role based in Baku. The Product Owner will manage the product backlog, define and refine user stories, and prioritize features based on business value and stakeholder input. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, aligning product requirements with technical capabilities, and ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations. The role involves gathering and analyzing business needs, translating them into actionable specifications, and supporting development and testing activities throughout the product lifecycle. The Product Owner will monitor product performance, collect feedback from users and stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement to meet strategic objectives.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Proficiency in product management, including backlog ownership, roadmap planning, and feature prioritization.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into clear user stories.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, development teams, and other business functions.
• Understanding of software development processes, agile methodologies, and working closely with engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience working in agile or Scrum environments as a Product Owner or similar role.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Azerbaijani or Russian is an advantage.
• Comfort with common product and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms).
