Senior manager – strateji təşəbbüslər və transformasiya

IRES is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager – Strategic Initiatives & Transformation on behalf of our client, a leading group of companies in Azerbaijan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, coordinating corporate transformation projects, and ensuring the effective implementation of business priorities across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor strategic initiative roadmaps, including key milestones, timelines, responsibilities, and expected outcomes.
• Translate corporate strategic priorities into actionable implementation plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and implementation challenges, and facilitate corrective actions.
• Support ERP implementation, optimisation, business process improvement, and workflow digitalisation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency through artificial intelligence, automation, and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with senior management and functional leaders across Finance, IT, Commercial, and Project Delivery.
• Improve management reporting, data quality, and reporting automation.
• Prepare strategic reports, analytical presentations, and progress updates for senior leadership.
• Track management decisions, ensure timely execution of agreed actions, and evaluate business outcomes.

Requirements

• Preferably 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in strategy execution, corporate transformation, management consulting, digital transformation, or programme management.
• Experience in real estate development, construction, infrastructure, or other project-intensive industries will be considered an advantage.
• Proven experience managing strategic initiatives and coordinating cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, business process optimisation, data management, AI, and automation.
• Experience working closely with senior executives and key business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Languages: Fluent Azerbaijani and professional proficiency in English; Russian is an advantage.
