The Engineering company is looking for a candidate for the position of the Electrical Technician with the following experience:

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the machine shop, including:
CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders
Overhead cranes, hoists, and power tools
Lighting, control panels, and distribution boards
Perform preventive maintenance on all electrical components per schedule.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Monitor and ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Work with control systems such as PLCs (if applicable).
Maintain and update maintenance records, logbooks, and reports.
Support installation and commissioning of new machines and electrical infrastructure.
Coordinate with Machine Shop, QA/QC, Purchase & Stores and HSE departments to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Identify and recommend improvements to enhance electrical safety and energy efficiency.
The position will be responsible for all types of electrical maintenance within the facility, regardless of location.
To support general maintenance cross-functional activities when required. This may include, but is not limited to, tasks such as assisting with CNC alignment, workshop upkeep, or non-electrical repairs.
Plan and prioritise workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
Handles special projects as assigned by Supervisor.

2+ years experience required of Electrical Repairs and Maintenance
College diploma preferred with Electrical Engineering subject
Documentation/reporting skills
Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) is a plus
Fluent English speaking and writing skills
Knowledge in MS-Office
Electrical Maintenance skills
Knowledge of generator systems
Problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents
