About The Role:

If you are passionate about Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Design, have energy industry experience, or have transferable skills, then we would love to hear from you. Reporting to the Lead C&I Designer, the main functions of the role will be the execution of Project work, in accordance with PD&MS and/or Project Procedures within the work hours, cost budgets and project schedule targets.

*Please note that candidates must be eligible to work in Azerbaijan at the time of application.

As a C&I Designer you will:

• Be responsible for progress reporting
• Consult with and take direction from assigned Instrument Engineers
• Develop detailed design drawing / document packages from offshore reports
• Prepare Block Diagrams, Termination Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Cable Schedules. Hydraulic / Pneumatic
• Process Hook-ups, Bill of Materials etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject and previous experience in detail design with an awareness of other disciplines.
• Sound technical background, sound knowledge of CAD drafting techniques and full understanding of materials and methods normally used within the Instrument discipline
• Proficiency in use of AutoCAD and MS Office products
• Computer literacy (Database / Tag Data Tool Spreadsheets)
• Ability to interpret P&IDs
• Ability to address operational and maintenance issued in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
• Previous experience / knowledge of client's Caspian Sea assets, procedures and software is seen as an advantage
• Willingness to attend site (offshore Caspian Sea) would be seen as advantageous
