Bumblebee Preschool and Montessori is an Early Childhood Education center for children aged 3 to 6. We offer different services for kids, including traditional and Montessori approached preschool groups, as well as different classes for toddlers, like art, music, English and cooking.

Reports to Head Teacher

Position summary

• This is a full time job. A preschool teacher is responsible for preparation of lesson plans for differet age groups, leading different activities, taking care of children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out a curriculum that targets different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills;
• Organize the classroom and create displays to encourage a positive learning environment;
• Keep all teaching supplies and materials up to date;
• Motivate students with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
• Maintain discipline and good order in classroom;
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem;
• Communicate regularly with parents and provide feedback on each child’s development;
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to plan, coordinate, and enhance the learning program;
• Participate actively in school events, projects, and professional development activities;
• Liaise with colleagues, build good working relations and work with flexibility;
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times;
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment;

Requirements

• Previous working experience with toddlers

• Strong communication, research and writing skills.

• Education - Higher education in the field of pedagogy is preferable
• Language skills - Fluency in English.
