Dance Teacher

Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies;
Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans;
Choreograph routines and select music for recitals and concerts at PreSchool;
Provide a fun and creative environment;
Engage, encourage, and motivate students;
Guide students safely through a warm up, conditioning, stretching, exercises, choreography and cool down;
Differentiate teaching for varying learners’ needs;
Communicate effectively with students and other staff members;
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Background:

Bachelor's degree in dance or qualification from an accredited college;
Previous teaching experience required;
English language skills - B1.
