Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lawyer role based in Baku. The Lawyer will advise clients on a range of legal matters, draft and review contracts and other legal documents, and prepare case strategies. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing relevant legislation and case law, and representing clients in negotiations, hearings, or other proceedings as needed. The Lawyer will collaborate with internal teams to provide clear, practical guidance, manage case files, and ensure all work aligns with firm policies and ethical standards. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and contributing to the firm’s innovation-focused approach to legal services.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in legal research, analysis, and interpretation of statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
• Experience in client counseling, case management, and representation in negotiations or proceedings.
• Ability to use legal technology tools and document management systems effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; advanced legal qualifications or bar admission are preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
• Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Prior experience in corporate, commercial, regulatory, or technology-related law is beneficial.
