Role Description The Legal Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Baku, responsible for providing legal support across the company’s service lines. This role involves analyzing legal issues, drafting and reviewing contracts and corporate documents, and preparing legal opinions and memoranda related to tax, employment, immigration, and commercial matters. The Legal Consultant will advise internal teams and clients on compliance with Azerbaijani law and relevant international regulations, and assist in managing legal risks in business operations. Day-to-day tasks include legal research, participation in client meetings, coordination with external authorities when necessary, and maintaining accurate legal documentation and case files. The role also requires collaborating with tax, HR, and accounting professionals to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law with the ability to interpret and apply Azerbaijani and relevant international legislation.

Minimum 2 years in consulting industry and ability to work with clients

• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts, agreements, and corporate documents.
• Experience in identifying, analyzing, and managing Legal Issues in areas such as tax, employment, immigration, and corporate law.
• Capability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice and Legal Assistance to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law from an accredited institution; admission to the bar in Azerbaijan is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in a law firm or in-house legal role, preferably within tax, corporate, or commercial practice.
• Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and English; Russian is a plus.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional integrity, client-focused mindset, and readiness to work collaboratively on-site in Baku.
