• Lead the development and technical verification of the overall railway station concept, including track layout, receiving and dispatch tracks, marshalling/shunting tracks, loading and unloading fronts, railway weighing, locomotive facilities and connection to the external railway network.
• Develop and validate the railway operating philosophy, including train reception, unloading, loading, wagon movements, train formation, shunting and dispatch operations.
• Ensure railway infrastructure and capacity are aligned with plant production, logistics requirements and the required 5.3 Mtpa throughput.
• Perform and review railway capacity, train movement, wagon flow and operational performance assessments, identifying bottlenecks and required operational reserves.
• Apply Design for Operability, ensuring that railway solutions are practical for real-life operation, maintainable and cost-effective throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide technical review and approval of railway-related Basis of Design, Design Criteria, layouts, track plans and profiles, specifications, calculations, tender documents, construction drawings and as-built documentation.
• Identify and manage railway technical risks, interfaces and deviations from applicable standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate railway interfaces with process technology, material handling, storage, logistics, roads, utilities, automation/signalling and external railway infrastructure.
• Represent the project in technical discussions with railway infrastructure owners, railway operators, carriers, authorities, EPC contractors, designers, suppliers and future plant operations.
• Provide technical support during construction, inspection, testing, commissioning and start-up, including trial shunting, wagon receipt/dispatch and interaction with the external railway network.
• Ensure effective involvement of future operating personnel and verify operational readiness prior to commercial operation

Tələblər

• Bachelor’s degree in Railway Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in railway infrastructure and/or railway operations, preferably within heavy industrial or large-scale logistics projects.
• Proven experience in railway station design, track layouts, marshalling/shunting operations, loading/unloading facilities, and railway network interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of railway capacity analysis, train movement, wagon flow, throughput calculations, and operational planning.
• Strong understanding of railway design standards, safety requirements, operational procedures, and applicable local regulations.
• Fluent English is required; Azerbaijani and/or Russian would be an advantage.
