• The Driller is a full-time, on-site role based in Baku, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of drilling equipment and systems on offshore rigs. Day-to-day tasks include operating and monitoring heavy drilling equipment, supervising the drilling crew, and controlling drilling parameters to meet well plans and safety requirements. The Driller conducts routine inspections of equipment, coordinates with engineers and supervisors on drilling programs, and ensures proper implementation of operational procedures and safety guidelines. The role involves maintaining accurate drilling records, responding to changing downhole conditions, supporting directional drilling operations when required, and participating in regular safety and compliance training.

• Ability to operate and oversee heavy equipment and drilling systems safely and effectively.
• Strong practical experience in drilling operations, including well control and rig floor activities.
• Knowledge of directional drilling techniques and collaboration with directional drilling specialists.
• Experience performing inspections of drilling equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Understanding of oil & gas industry standards, offshore drilling practices, and relevant regulations.
• Proven commitment to safety, risk management, and adherence to company procedures and ISO-quality standards.
• Previous offshore drilling experience in a similar role; IWCF or IADC well control certification is highly beneficial.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a diverse crew, communicate clearly, and work effectively in a multinational team.
• Physical ability to work in offshore environments and willingness to follow rotation schedules.
