Project Lead

Company Description Aqualink Azerbaijan LLC specializes in the design, installation, and technical service of drinking and wastewater treatment systems, supported by its own patented technologies and research. The company has long-standing experience in producing water treatment chemicals, including drinking water disinfectants, additives for cooling and boiler systems, surface disinfectants, and CIP cleaning solutions, many of which are patented and legally protected. Aqualink collaborates with leading international water treatment companies from Europe, the United States, Turkey, and Germany, acting as their representative in Azerbaijan and delivering sales and after-sales services. Role Description The Project Lead will oversee end-to-end project execution for water treatment and related systems, ensuring that design, installation, and commissioning activities meet technical, safety, and quality standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Baku City and involves coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, managing timelines and budgets, and liaising with clients, suppliers, and international partners. The Project Lead will prepare technical documentation, reports, and project plans; monitor project progress; identify risks; and implement corrective actions where needed. The role also includes supporting tender preparation, contributing to technical proposals, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The Project Lead will foster collaboration across departments and help drive continuous improvement in project delivery practices.
Qualifications

• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Solid technical background in water treatment, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing relationships with clients, suppliers, and international partners.
• Ability to prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and project proposals with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English; Azerbaijani and Russian language skills are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, environmental sciences, project management, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, health and safety regulations, and environmentally responsible practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Prior experience in water treatment, industrial systems, or infrastructure projects is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Word, and collaboration tools).
