QA Engineer - HR Tech

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our payment systems by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
• Perform manual and automated testing on web and backend applications.
• Identify, report, and track defects to resolution, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
• Lead and mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance on testing practices and techniques.
• Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and standards for quality assurance within the team.

Tələblər

• Testing Experience: At least 2 years of experience in web and backend testing.
• Strong Knowledge of Testing Methodologies: Proficient in various software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with a solid understanding of all stages of software development and testing.
• Requirements Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements to develop test cases and test scenarios.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to discuss requirements and testing results.
• Mentoring Experience: Ability to support and mentor junior QA engineers, coordinate their work, and facilitate onboarding and knowledge sharing.
• UI Test Automation: Experience developing automated UI tests using the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approach.
• Backend API Test Automation: Experience developing and maintaining automated integration tests using Postman and Rest Assured.
• CI/CD: Understanding of and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, TeamCity, or similar tools.
• Reporting and Quality Metrics: Ability to prepare test reports, analyze quality metrics, and recommend improvements to testing processes.
• Log Analysis and Monitoring Tools: Experience analyzing application logs using tools such as Kibana, Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar solutions.
• Process Documentation: Ability to create and maintain documentation for testing processes, standards, and best practices.
• SQL Knowledge: Proficiency in writing SQL queries using JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, subqueries, and aggregate functions. Experience working with multiple tables to extract data and generate reports.
• Languages: Azerbaijani, with strong communication skills in English or Russian (B2 level).
