.NET разработчик

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer for our banking client in Azerbaijan. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable banking applications and services, while working closely with business, product, and technology teams.

The candidate must currently reside in Azerbaijan and should have strong experience in .NET development and banking/financial applications. Experience with Java will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable banking applications using .NET technologies.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and application components.
• Work closely with business analysts, product teams, architects, QA, and other technology stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party/system integrations.
• Identify performance, scalability, and reliability improvements within existing applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and production incidents.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in relevant ceremonies.
• Ensure developed solutions comply with security, performance, and banking technology standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in .NET development.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core is preferred.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and integration principles.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or other enterprise-level applications is highly preferred.
• Experience with Java is considered a plus.
• Good command of English.
• Must currently reside in Azerbaijan.
