Summary

• The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of material assets (fuel, raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished products, spare parts, tools, etc.) in full compliance with internal procedures. The role focuses on inventory control, maintaining reorder points, ensuring health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards, supervising warehouse personnel, and preparing relevant operational reports and documentation in both paper and ERP formats.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of material assets (fuel, raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished products, parts, tools, equipment, etc.) in accordance with internal company procedures;
• Ensure and oversee proper documentation for inbound, storage, and outbound transactions both in the ERP system and in physical paper form;
• Monitor the compliance of received goods with accompanying documents and oversee their complete assembly according to orders;
• Determine minimum inventory levels (reorder points) and ensure stock levels do not fall below established thresholds;
• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements within the warehouse; monitor the operational condition and timely maintenance of fire-fighting equipment, fire protection systems, machinery, and inventory;
• Organize and supervise loading, unloading, and material placement activities;
• Ensure monthly stock counts are conducted and properly documented through official acts;
• Participate in physical inventory audits of material assets based on internal orders;
• Oversee the proper preparation of defect lists for faulty tools and devices, write-off/repair documentation, as well as official acts regarding material shortages or damages;
• Lead and manage warehouse personnel, regularly evaluate their competencies, and implement measures for their professional development;
• Develop procedures and regulations required for the proper and efficient management of warehouse operations;
• Prepare regular operational reports and present process improvement proposals to company management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a managerial role within warehouse or inventory management.
• Hands-on experience working with ERP systems (e.g., 1C, Logo Tiger, Odoo, etc.).
• Strong ability to draft warehouse business processes, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Proven team leadership, motivation, and people management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team, with strong communication and planning skills.
• High level of attention to detail, responsibility, and operational responsiveness.
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English is mandatory; knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
