Deputy General Manager Level

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our hotel team in one of Azerbaijan’s regions.

This is a senior management position at Deputy General Manager level, responsible for overseeing the hotel’s overall operations, ensuring high service standards, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and effective coordination between all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the hotel’s day-to-day operations across all departments.
• Support the General Manager in the overall management and strategic development of the property.
• Act as the Deputy General Manager in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring continuity of hotel operations.
• Ensure consistently high standards of guest service, hospitality, and operational excellence.
• Lead, motivate, and develop department heads and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, standards, health & safety requirements, and applicable legislation.
• Work closely with the General Manager on budgeting, cost control, revenue optimization, and operational planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, guest experience, and financial performance.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities and ensure effective communication throughout the hotel.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and development of employees.
• Maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the hotel’s business and operational strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in hotel operations, with proven experience in a senior management position.
• Previous experience as Operations Manager, Hotel Manager, Deputy General Manager, or a similar senior-level role is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, including Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other operational functions.
• Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Willingness to work and reside in the region.
