About Multi-Vec

Multi-Vec is a reliable and ambitious player in the international transport and logistics market. As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated Logistics Specialist to join our team and contribute to the successful management of international transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage import, export, and transit shipments via container, rail, road, and multimodal transportation;
• Research and obtain competitive freight rates from carriers, shipping lines, terminals, and logistics partners;
• Plan and organize transportation routes based on cargo requirements, transit times, and cost efficiency;
• Collect, verify, and maintain shipment-related documentation, including transport, customs, and commercial documents;
• Communicate with clients, carriers, agents, terminals, and suppliers to ensure smooth cargo movement;
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve operational issues that may arise during transportation;
• Prepare transportation quotations and operational calculations;
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and transportation regulations;
• Maintain accurate shipment records and proper document archiving;
• Prepare regular operational and performance reports;
• Continuously monitor market developments, transportation routes, and logistics solutions to improve service efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation operations;
• Higher education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred;
• Strong understanding of container, rail, and multimodal transportation;
• Knowledge of international shipping documentation and transportation processes;
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with international carriers, shipping lines, and freight forwarding companies;
• Knowledge of transportation routes across the CIS, Middle East, China, Europe, and South Asia regions;
• Familiarity with logistics management systems and operational reporting tools.
