SAMT MMC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team.

Location: Sumgait, Khizi

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery, and risk criteria;
• Execute procurement processes in accordance with company policies and procedures;
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and cooperation terms with suppliers;
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors;
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods and services;
• Monitor order status and resolve procurement-related issues promptly;
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly based on KPIs and performance metrics;
• Participate in procurement process improvement and optimization initiatives;
• Maintain and archive procurement-related documentation, including contracts and supplier correspondence;
• Prepare procurement reports and present results to management;
• Develop effective communication and long-term cooperation with international suppliers;
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and ethical principles;
• Stay informed about market trends and industry innovations and apply insights to procurement strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management;
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management principles;
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/supply chain management software;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Russian language skills are considered an advantage;
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or similar are a plus.
