Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective control of budget, schedule, scope, and risks.
- Establish and maintain an effective Project Control System.
- Ensure integration between planning/scheduling, cost control, and risk management functions.
- Develop and maintain the Project WBS, Contract Master Schedule, Control Budget, Cash Flow, and Risk & Opportunity Management Plan.
- Monitor project progress against approved baselines and identify schedule, cost, and performance deviations.
- Ensure timely preparation of project forecasts, progress reports, and client reporting.
- Define Project Control requirements for subcontractors and vendors.
- Coordinate the setup and implementation of the Document Control System and related project information systems.
- Ensure effective implementation of project risk and opportunity management processes.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise the Project Control team.
- Maintain close interfaces with Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, Administration, ICT, and other relevant functions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSEQ policies, procedures, and requirements.
Requirements
- Higher Education / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Project Controls experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, project planning/scheduling, risk management, and document control.
- Strong understanding of Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Good knowledge of Project Control processes, tools, reporting, interfaces, and deliverables.
- Strong project analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Strong managerial, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English and Azerbaijani.
