Product owner

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the product end-to-end - from identifying problems and opportunities to making complex decisions and delivering measurable results. You will work across business, technology, risk, legal, and operations, taking accountability beyond functional boundaries and bringing diverse teams together around a shared goal.

• Take full ownership of the product, treating it as your own business and being accountable for its overall performance and outcomes;
• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities in alignment with business and customer needs;
• Identify product problems and opportunities proactively and initiate changes without waiting for instructions;
• Analyze product performance, customer behavior, financial indicators, and risk metrics to make data-driven decisions;
• Identify root causes of complex problems and develop actionable solutions;
• Balance customer experience, business value, profitability, risk, and regulatory requirements when making product decisions;
• Take ownership of issues beyond formal functional boundaries and drive them to resolution across IT, Risk, Legal, Operations, and other teams;
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and defining requirements to implementation, launch, and continuous improvement;
• Make complex product decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and take responsibility for their consequences;
• Define and monitor key product KPIs and continuously improve product performance;
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery;
• Influence and align stakeholders without relying on formal authority, building trust and maintaining effective working relationships;
• Lead complex discussions and negotiations, openly address challenges, and resolve conflicts when necessary;
• Ensure that the product team remains focused on delivering measurable outcomes and achieving shared business goals;
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, customer experience, and product economics.

Tələblər

• 5+ years of professional experience in the banking sector, preferably in product management or a related field;
• Strong understanding of banking and credit products, including their financial models and economics;
• Solid knowledge of credit risk principles and risk management;
• Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and their impact on product development;
• Strong analytical and mathematical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions;
• Ability to identify root causes of complex problems and develop effective, sustainable solutions;
• Strong understanding of end-to-end banking processes and cross-functional dependencies;
• High level of ownership and accountability, with a proactive approach to identifying problems and driving solutions;
• Ability to make complex decisions, assess trade-offs, and take responsibility for outcomes;
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders without relying on formal authority;
