Senior AI Product Owner / Business Analyst

DataSpecta is a Data & AI consulting and engineering company helping organizations transform data into measurable business value through advanced analytics, modern data platforms and enterprise AI solutions.

We design and deliver solutions across both on-premise and cloud environments, working closely with enterprise customers from discovery through production.

Alongside customer projects, we build our own AI products such as CogniSpecta (enterprise knowledge & cognitive search) and CodeSpecta (AI-powered software engineering).

We're looking for a Senior AI Product Owner / Business Analyst based in Baku, Azerbaijan, with strong BA/PO experience and a solid understanding of Generative AI, LLMs and AI agents.

You will own requirements and acceptance for AI initiatives across nine corporate departments of an enterprise customer.

Location & Work Model

What You Will Work On

• Enterprise AI initiatives across finance, procurement, HR and legal
• Generative AI solutions: RAG and tool-calling AI agents
• AI-powered report generation and process automation

Responsibilities

• Write user stories with testable acceptance criteria
• Model as-is and target processes with human-in-the-loop checkpoints
• Define AI quality thresholds with the QA team
• Coordinate UAT and departmental sign-off
• Maintain the backlog and quarterly prioritisation
• Track benefit realisation

Required Qualifications

• Based in Baku or willing to relocate
• 5+ years as BA or PO, 3+ in regulated financial services
• Experience in at least two of: finance, procurement, HR or legal automation
• At least one AI/ML or analytics product delivered to production
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English

Technical Skills

• Requirements: User stories, Gherkin, BPMN 2.0, RACI
• AI literacy: RAG, AI agents, LLM failure modes, evaluation metrics
• Data: SQL, advanced Excel
• Enterprise functions: SAP FI/CO, SAP SuccessFactors
• Tooling: Jira, Confluence, Camunda Modeler, Bizagi or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications (a plus)

• CBAP, PSPO or equivalent
• Multi-entity holding or group experience
• Russian or Turkish
