Conditions:

• Employment in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
• Working hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00.
• Days off: Saturday and Sunday.
• Salary: Negotiable.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily financial and accounting operations accurately and on time;
• Review payment documents and financial information for accuracy and completeness;
• Verify financial documents and ensure the timely and accurate entry of data into the accounting system;
• Ensure proper classification of Cash Flow transactions and contribute to the effective execution of related processes;
• Ensure that accounting transactions are properly recorded;
• Ensure the proper allocation of cash transactions to relevant expense categories and accurate maintenance of accounts within the accounting system;
• Maintain financial and tax accounting records;
• Use New e-Taxes, E-gov.az and other relevant government electronic portals;
• Monitor payments and bank account activity through Internet Banking and execute payments;
• Calculate and process salaries, vacation payments, final settlements and other employee-related payments;
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and statements, monitor their submission status, and respond to desk audit discrepancy notices and tax authority inquiries;
• Monitor taxpayers’ turnover, with particular focus on VAT turnover, and prepare relevant reports;
• Prepare and ensure the timely submission of tax, DSMF and other mandatory reports;
• Perform other accounting and tax-related duties as required.

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience;
• Strong knowledge of tax legislation and accounting principles;
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word;
• Proficiency in 1C 8.3 accounting software;
• Good command of Azerbaijani, English, and Russian;
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to investigate and resolve problems promptly;
• Attention to detail, responsibility, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills.
