The role involves providing tax advisory services on corporate and commercial matters, supporting local and international transactions, ensuring tax compliance, and advising clients on Azerbaijani tax legislation and practice.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing and processing transactions through Internet Banking systems
• Performing payroll calculations and related accounting operations
• Preparing and issuing monthly invoices, including VAT invoices
• Reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Handling various tax and accounting matters in compliance with applicable legislation
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, financial reports, and statutory filings
• Maintaining accounting records and performing accounting operations in 1C software
• Preparing and submitting reports to relevant state authorities
• Communicating regularly with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders
• Providing accounting and tax advisory support to clients
• Carrying out other accounting and finance-related duties as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting, taxation, or financial consulting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax legislation, and financial reporting requirements
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English (both written and spoken)
• Practical experience with 1C Accounting software
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• High level of self-motivation, responsibility, and commitment to professional development
• Client-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality services and exceeding client expectations
