О роли

Ensure the review and commenting of design documents, drawings and technical specifications and coordinate the approval process.
Provide technical justification for design changes, assess their impact on cost and schedule, and submit them for approval.
Promptly resolve technical issues arising during execution, respond to technical queries and coordinate with the design organization.
Prepare the technical part of tender documents (scope of work, technical assignment, specifications) and perform the technical evaluation of received bids.
Verify the technical compliance of materials and equipment together with the engineering team and review Material Approval Requests (MARs) and samples.
Monitor contractors’ and subcontractors’ compliance with the work program, quality, occupational safety and contractual requirements.
Participate in organizing project meetings, prepare minutes and follow up on implementation of agreed decisions.
Conduct technical correspondence with the Client, design organizations, government authorities and other stakeholders.

At least 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas projects. Previous experience in upstream projects is highly desirable
Fluency in Azerbaijani and working proficiency in English; knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
Practical knowledge of project management methodologies (integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, stakeholder, resource, communication, procurement and risk management).
Ability to monitor schedules prepared in MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
Required Education, Qualifications and Certifications:
Higher education (Bachelor’s degree) in an Engineering discipline.
PMP certification is desirable.
