Job Duties

  • Inclusion of daily and monthly production data in the monthly report; forecast and report on medium-term production targets against plan.
  • Analyze well production data to identify performance trends, anomalies, and integrity concerns; recommend measures in line with well optimization strategy.
  • Modelling of production wells using PROSPER, GAP, and MBAL, including IPR curve construction, nodal analysis, choke management, and well operating envelope definition.
  • Build and maintain integrated production models (IPM) to simulate well, network, and reservoir interactions, enabling scenario planning and production optimization across the asset.
  • Perform decline curve analysis to forecast well and field production, assess recovery potential, and support reserves estimation.
  • Manage and optimize artificial lift systems including ESP, SRP, PCP, Gas Lift, and Plunger Lift; covering design, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
  • Monitor onshore well performance, surface facilities, and fluid handling; work with operators to identify production improvement opportunities and resolve operational issues.
  • Provide technical inputs to well intervention planning and execution; evaluate intervention options, expected production uplift, and associated risks.
  • Review and challenge operator-submitted production reports, well intervention proposals, and decline forecasts on behalf of company non-operated interest; represent the company in technical meetings with operators.
  • By analyzing the integrated plan, identify key risks to delivery, track actions from integration meetings, and escalate issues as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s adegree in petroleum engineering;
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in oil and gas production engineering, preferably across both onshore and offshore operations;
  • Proficiency in integrated production modelling tools including PROSPER, GAP, and MBAL;
  • Experience with artificial lift systems: ESP, SRP, PCP, Gas Lift, and other onshore lift technologies;
  • Proven background in decline curve analysis, production forecasting, and reserves estimation support;
  • Experience working in or alongside non-operated assets, with understanding of operator engagement and JOA frameworks;
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is an advantage);
