Role Description The Information Technology Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Baku City. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring system performance, installing and configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts and access rights, and applying security updates and patches. The IT Administrator will provide hands-on technical support to users, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, and document recurring problems and solutions. The role also involves maintaining backups and recovery procedures, supporting IT projects and upgrades, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT operations.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Information Technology, including understanding of operating systems, hardware components, and common enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in System Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, desktops, and user accounts.
• Experience in Network Administration, covering LAN/WAN management, routing, switching, and basic firewall and VPN configuration.
• Hands-on skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve user, hardware, and software issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices, backup and recovery procedures, and monitoring tools.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant certification(s) such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or Cisco credentials are an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
