Reports to - Operations Manager
Position summary
- This is a part time job. The School Psychologist supports students’ well-being and learning by assessing needs, providing interventions, and working with teachers and parents to create a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess the social and emotional needs of preschool-aged children and develop and implement individual development plans.
- Conduct psychodiagnostic evaluations and prepare appropriate intervention plans.
- Provide individual psychological support for children with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers to support the learning environment from a psychological perspective.
- Conduct consultations with parents to strengthen parent-child relationships.
- Organize educational meetings.
- Document observations and intervention measures, ensuring confidentiality.
Requirements
- Higher education in psychology (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology; Master’s in Early Childhood Psychology is a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in child psychology, preferably with preschool-aged children.
Personal qualities
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong communication, research and writing skills.
- Creativity
- Time management
- Language skills - Fluency in English.
