Khazar University Dunya IB School seeks an English Language and Literature Teacher who will be part of the dynamic team.

Qualification and experience:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in English Philology; English Literature; English Teaching
Teaching experience in secondary school is desirable
An international teaching qualification is desirable

Skills:

Proficiency in spoken and written English
Exceptional organisational and communication skills
Knowledge of various teaching methods

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual student's needs and the MYP curriculum
Become familiar with the curriculum guidelines and work toward their successful implementation
Preparing the classroom by gathering and setting up equipment.
Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources
Attending faculty and parent-teacher meetings.
Monitoring inventory and sourcing art supplies, as needed.
Ensuring that the classroom is clean after each lesson.
Perform teacher duties according to schedule
