Role Description associate professor role is a full-time, on-site faculty role based in Baku. The position involves delivering undergraduate lectures in computer science and related areas, preparing and updating course materials, and supervising laboratory and project work.. The role also requires collaboration with colleagues on course content design, assessment methods, and continuous improvement of teaching quality to support AZSET’s English-taught, internationally oriented programs.

• Strong foundation in Computer Science with expertise in core theoretical and applied areas.
• Proficiency in Programming and related software development practices suitable for academic teaching.
• Experience in Cybersecurity or closely related fields, with the ability to integrate these topics into teaching and research.
• Demonstrated skills in Lecturing, including delivering clear, engaging courses in English and supporting diverse learners.
• Relevant academic degree (PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline strongly preferred).
• Evidence of research activity, such as publications, projects, or industry collaboration.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and teamwork skills, with commitment to inclusive and learner-centered education.
• Experience teaching in international or English-medium programs is an advantage.
