Role Description The Math Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at Evrika Liseyi in Baku City. The person in this role will plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, ensuring that learning objectives and assessment standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, presenting mathematical concepts clearly, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The Math Teacher will also participate in curriculum development, collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, attend staff meetings and professional development activities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach a range of levels.
• Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned with international or Cambridge standards.
• Status as a Qualified Teacher, with relevant teaching certification or licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
• Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, learner-centered environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Experience teaching in an international or Cambridge school setting is beneficial.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues and families.
