Job responsibilities

• Get to know each student in the homeroom; ​
• Be available and approachable, setting tones of friendship;
• Encourage students to feel “important” and to be moral persons;
• Monitor behavior, advize and encourage observance of the School Policies;​
• Be knowledgeable of pupil services programs offered by the school;
• Keep accurate records of attendance; ​
• Take notice of each student’s report and academic progress;​
• Write comments (logs) regarding student`s progress and behavior on a weekly basis;
• Give feedback to the Administration when issues of importance have been discussed;
• Dialogue with Administration, Parents, or with the student’s other teachers when there is concern; ​
• Report any student with a pattern of late arrival;
• Report to the Psychologist any student with a pattern of behavior problems.

Background:

• Bachelor`s degree is a must;
• 1+ years of experience as a teacher;
• Proficiency in spoken and written english;
• Experience in working at International/English speaking schools is a plus.
