We are looking for an experienced Mobile Business Analyst for our banking client in Azerbaijan. This role will be responsible for analyzing business requirements for corporate internet banking and mobile banking applications, supporting the end-to-end mobile application development process, and working closely with business and technology teams.

The candidate must currently reside in Azerbaijan. Strong experience in the banking sector, mobile application development processes, and SQL-based data analysis is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements for corporate internet banking and mobile banking applications.
• Work closely with business, product, technology, development, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the mobile application development lifecycle.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Take an active role throughout the end-to-end product development process, from requirements analysis through development, testing, and go-live.
• Analyze existing banking processes and identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
• Use SQL to perform data analysis, data validation, and business-related data investigations.
• Analyze data and translate findings into actionable business requirements and recommendations.
• Support the analysis of APIs, integrations, data flows, and interactions between banking systems and mobile applications.
• Prepare functional analysis documents, process flows, and other relevant documentation.
• Support test scenario preparation, user acceptance testing, and validation of developed features.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in planning, refinement, and other relevant ceremonies.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and delivered as expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with professional experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Hands-on experience with mobile application development projects and a strong understanding of the mobile application development lifecycle.
• Experience with corporate internet banking, digital banking, or mobile banking applications.
• Strong SQL knowledge and proven experience in data analysis and data validation.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and functional analysis.
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Must currently reside in Azerbaijan.
• Good command of English; Azerbaijani and/or Turkish language skills are considered an advantage.
