The Backend Chapter Lead is the professional leader of the Java/Spring Boot engineering discipline. The role is fully focused on people development, engineering quality, processes, and the growth of engineering maturity.

- Lead and manage engineering teams;
- Support team growth, mentoring, and performance management;
- Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery;
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders;
- Drive Agile/Scrum processes and engineering best practices;
- Participate in technical design and architectural decisions;
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and technical debt;
- Improve engineering processes, productivity, and operational efficiency;
- Support hiring and team scaling activities.
Tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
- 5+ years of software engineering experience;
- 2+ years of engineering leadership experience;
- Banking or fintech experience;
- Experience managing Agile teams and enterprise systems;
- Strong software engineering background with hands-on development experience;
- Strong understanding Java and Spring Boot ecosystem;
- Experience with Microservices architecture;
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases;
- Experience with Kafka;
- Understanding SDLC and software architecture principles;
- Experience with high-load and highly available systems;
- Experience with Git, Gradle, Docker, K8S;
- Leadership and people management;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management;
- Decision-making and problem-solving;
- Ownership and accountability;
- Coaching and mentoring mindset;
